Peaceful Kids Program

The 'Peaceful Kids' program is a FREE Mindfulness and Positive Psychology based program to lessen anxiety and stress and increase resilience in children. This program helps children to build their emotional resilience, so they are better equipped to deal with the day-to-day stresses that life brings them.

Peaceful Kids is a FREE 8-week mindfulness and positive psychology program for primary and high school-aged children. In small group settings, kids explore a range of evidence-based strategies to reduce stress, manage anxiety, and build emotional resilience.

Children learn lifelong coping skills, including:

  • Techniques to lessen worrying

  • A range of practical and expressive coping strategies

  • Problem-solving strategies

  • Journalling and expressing worries

  • Facing challenges and fears step by step

  • Preventative strategies to help prevent stress build-up

  • Being attuned to their own bodies and minds

  • Understanding and recognising their own feelings


Peaceful Kids is an 8- week program for primary school aged children. A group of 4 to 6 children participate in a 1-hour session each week.


Peaceful Kids can be offered at schools, in community organisations, or in-house depending on interest and need.
