What are EWIT Programs like?
EWIT has collaborated with industry leaders to deliver unique hands-on programs to teach as many women and Australians as possible how to use tools and increase the awareness of what a career within skilled trades looks like. These programs are designed to empower women by providing them with the opportunity to gain the skills and confidence to imagine, design, and create anything and enable women to see the trade-based industries as a viable pathway.
Participants will get a glimpse of what each trade is like from interactive experiences and doing hands-on activities with TAFE’s, employers, and industry leaders. This way they can make better decisions about their future career path.
Programs can be one day, one week or longer depending on the industry and the career pathways. Participants are welcome to attend multiple programs to support the process of making informed career choices.
