Leave a legacy in your will

Gifts in will

For four decades, Jewish House has been dedicated to providing essential crisis support to the community. Thanks to the generosity of donors and supporters, we have been able to make a meaningful impact on countless lives. As we look to the future, our ability to continue supporting those in need depends on our long-term financial stability.

To help ensure Jewish House can serve the community for the next 40 years and beyond, we invite you to consider leaving a bequest or gift in your will. A legacy gift is a lasting way to express your commitment to the wellbeing of our community and helps us continue supporting individuals and families through their most challenging times.

Why consider a bequest

A gift in your will can make a meaningful difference. Here are some reasons supporters choose to leave a bequest to Jewish House.

Impactful giving

Your bequest helps us continue providing essential crisis support to people facing homelessness, domestic violence, mental health challenges and other critical situations.

Preserving our values

Your support helps sustain the compassion, empathy and kindness that have guided Jewish House for more than 40 years.

Financial flexibility

We understand circumstances can change. Your bequest can be modified or revoked at any time. Our team can help you structure your gift in line with your wishes.

Honouring loved ones

A bequest can be a meaningful way to honour the memory of a loved one or recognise the impact of Jewish House in the community.

Recognition and gratitude

Supporters who include Jewish House in their will are honoured as members of the Jewish House Legacy Circle in recognition of their generosity.

How to leave a gift in your will

You can include a simple clause in your will. We recommend speaking with your legal advisor to ensure your wishes are properly documented.

Suggested wording:

"I [Your Name], give [specific amount/residue/percentage] of my estate to Jewish House ABN 19350397588 located at 17 Flood Street, Bondi, for its general purposes. I declare that the receipt of the treasurer or other proper officer of Jewish House will be a full and sufficient discharge for this bequest."
